To realize NTT DOCOMO’s vision of “From Communicationｓ infrastructure to Lifestyle infrastructure”, DBL (DOCOMO Beijing communications Laboratories Co., Ltd.) is dedicated to the research on 4G/B4G wireless transmission technologies，system control technologies,new services and applications to realize this ambition. Currently, DBL is comprised of three laboratories: Innovative Radio Transmission Lab, which focuses on next generation wireless access technologies for cellular and ubiquitous integrated network, Advanced Wireless System Lab, which focuses on universal system control technologies of wireless system for realizing the
vision of mobile ubiquitous, and Mobile Ubiquitous Communications Lab, which targets on multimedia communications and wireless ubiquitous solutions to provide new communication environments and experience .
OUR RESEARCH ACTIVITIE S
Currently, the research results of three Labs have been published and will be published in international and domestic conferences such as IEEE ICC, Globecom, PIMRC, VTC, WCNC. In addition, we have submitted some contribution documents to worldwide standardization organizations such as 3GPP LTE, IEEE802.11/16, and undertake partial white paper editing for FuTURE Forum and submit proposals.
So far, DBL has been undertaking collaborated research with various universities such as Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, in fields of Resource management technologies based on novel/new concept, Adaptive transmission and control technologies for DAS, Fundamental transmission technologies for MIMO-OFDM, Networking control schemes/technologies based on natural world model, QoS guarantee technologies for ubiquitous networks, multimedia communications and plans to extend the scope of co-operation in the future. co-operation in the future.
